We work with a number of different shippers to find the best price and service to meet your needs. White glove shippers handle our larger pieces with typical delivery times of 4-6 weeks. If you are in more of a hurry, we also utilize shippers that can deliver within 5-20 days if required (for a higher price). Smaller pieces that can travel via Fedex or Greyhound usually arrive within 3-14 days depending upon location. All items are fully insured for purchase price.

Since everything we sell is vintage or antique (40-100+ years old), some wear from use should be expected (minor imperfections / scratches, etc). These are not new items so please have reasonable expectations.
We always note outstanding instances of wear or damage in our listings. During our restoration process we do not remove the entirety of the vintage character as that is what makes these pieces unique and illustrates the history of their prior life. We also never sell Mid Century reproductions (new items). Our goal is to make sure our customers are happy with their purchase, therefore, we accurately represent / describe each item to the best of our ability keeping the age of the piece in mind. We are happy to provide you with as much information and photos as possible before purchasing. Please read descriptions thoroughly, look at all photos, take measurements and ask questions or request additional photos before purchasing.
All sales are final. No returns, refunds or exchanges will be issued.
If there is a problem with your order please contact us within
24 hours of delivery. We will work with you to mediate the issue. Orders scheduled for local pickup, delivery or shipment may not be cancelled.
We are flexible in working through issues with our clients. If you have extenuating circumstances please let us know, we will do our best to reach a reasonable solution. Re-stocking fees may apply in rare cases where management agrees to refunds, cancellations, or returns.
Unlike most online retailers that place the responsibility of shipping damage on the customer, we don't feel that dealing with insurance claims, appraisals, removeal, etc... should be the responsibility of the customer. Especially since the average insurance claim takes 2-3 months to settle.
Should damage occur during shipment, we will deal with the shipper and handle the insurance claim. We ask that you inspect the item and packaging at the time of delivery, note any damage on the delivery paperwork, and notify us immediately. We will request photos of the damage for insurance. You will need to keep any and all packaging as it was found for inspection by the shipper. If a total loss, we will refund you in full (including shipping charges) within 24 hours and coordinate removal of the item.
Once an item has been purchased and paid for, we will hold it for up to 30 days. If shipping has not been arranged or item has not been picked up after 30 days from the purchase date, we will charge a $10 storage fee for every day the item remains in our shop.
If the item has not been removed after 45 days from purchase date, we will assume the item has been abandoned. The item will then be relisted for sale and we will refund your money minus storage fees and a 20% restocking fee.

We go to fine detail to ensure the pieces we sell are ready to be placed in your home when they leave our shop (unless otherwise noted in the listing). We sell vintage/antique/used pieces and as such offer no warranty implied, verbal or in writing. Dirty Girls Restoration had no say in the design, functionality, composition or construction of any of the pieces we sell. As such we cannot warranty something we did not manufacture.
On all electronic items we sell, we always show in our listing that item working. If a light - we will show the lamp/light in it's on position. If a stereo or other electronic device we will make a video of it playing/working. We also encourage customers to view eletronic items in person at our shop in Oak Ridge, TN. We never sell an item that is not in working condition (unless otherwise noted in the listing). Even though it is working at the time of sale we do not guarantee it will work down the line. Vintage electronics are several decades old and the act of shipping/delivering a vintage electronic piece can be hard on them. The vibration of the road can disrupt the mechanism by shaking loose a soldered wire, electronic board or tube. Shipping companies will not pay claims unless physical damage has occured. We do not offer compensation if a vintage electronic device arrives with operational issues. Buyer accepts responsibility of repair (if needed) if shipping is requested. We have no way to repair items that arrive malfunctioning, however we will work with you in trying to allieviate the issue or locate for you a vintage electronics repair shop in your area. We do not offer refunds on vintage electronics. All items are sold as-is with no implied warranty. We also do not guarantee the vintage electronic items we sell with work with your piece of equipment (if trying to attach something). Ex} Turntables, receivers, televisions or other newer or modern devices may or may not be compatible with Mid Century electronic inputs.
